Apprenticeship Scheme

Overview

A 24-month programme to support the development of apprentices who join SHENA from the Government initiated i-Ready Programme.

An extension of the 18-month iReady program in which the incumbent shall continue to serve an additional 6 months with SHENA upon completion of the iReady Programme.

Builds and develop strong partnership between the SHENA and Public & Private industries with an aim of World Class Health and Safety - Compliance To Occupational Health and Safety Legislation/ Standards as part of SHENA's contribution to the Country's Strategy Vision for 2035.

Eligibility Criteria

  • ✅ Bachelor's Degree and above where qualification deemed relevant.
  • ✅ Good command of English
  • ✅ Self-motivated
  • ✅ Exhibit strong interest in the field of HSE related matters

Our Objectives

    ✅ Contributes in the alternative approach in preparing a structured growth of Work Safety Health Officer (WSHO) pool.

    ✅ Collaboration with JCB under the existing i-Ready scheme

    ✅ Facilitating the transition period from i-Ready to Registered Work Safety Health Officer.

    ✅ Hands on training by experienced WSH personnel, Technical Personnel & Department heads.
