Approved Training Provider (ATP)

Apply to act as an Approved Training Provider (ATP)

A training provider must be authorized by SHENA to provide safety and health training course for the purposes of section 31, under Workplace Safety and Health Order, 2009 in the following category:

  • Occupational Health and Safety (e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH, Basic HSE Awareness Course, etc.)
  • Material Handling (e.g. Crane/excavator/rigging operator, rigging, forklift, manual handling, etc.)
  • Scaffolding
  • Work At Height
  • Hot Work (e.g. Welding, brazing, etc.)
  • Offshore Survival
  • Oil and Gas Related Safety (e.g. OPITO IMIST, etc.)
  • Defensive Driving
  • Blaster Painter
  • Fire Fighting
  • Occupational First Aid
  • Environmental
  • Electrical
  • Marker Fitters
  • Permit to Work
  • Food Safety
  • Chemical Handling
  • Maritime

How to apply
  • Download the Application to act as an approved Training Provider Form
  • Submit the completed Soft copy of the Application form with all supporting documents via email wshapplication@shena.gov.bn OR using Pendrive to

    SHENA Reception (Level 4, Design & Technology Building, Spg 32-37, Kg Anggerek Desa)
  • SHENA will conduct a site verification on the Training Provider premise and issue a report.
  • The applicant will receive an email notification if their application is successful. Applicant will also receive the registration certificate.
Documents required

Applicant will need to submit soft copies, preferably in pdf format, of the following documents:

  • A completed Application Form (with signature and company stamp)
  • A separate PDF supporting documents according to the following category:
    • Business Profile
    • Training Course & Certificate Awarding
    • Instructor / Trainer, assessor and verifier
    • Training premise, facilities & equipment
    • Emergency Procedures
